Spray Play

We had a super fun trip to the spray park this week. We had to go "into town" early one morning (to get fbi finger scanned for our adoption paper work) and it was right across the street from the fab spray park in Liberty, so the kids and I stopped over there before heading back. Apparently first thing in the morning is the time to go cause the place was empty and we had lots of fun playing all by ourselves.

Sophia had no water qualms.

Kole had lots of fun, he played in the water much more than I thought he would. He didn't stick his face in it or anything, but he did run around in it. He also had to throw a huge screaming fit at one point cause he wanted to wear the towel into the water and he didn't know why I had such a problem with that. It was for sure the worst public fit of any of the kids to date....fun stuff.

Isabella

Xander was, of course, all about running around in the water. And as you can see he had no problem with getting sprayed in the face.

Princess Ari played, but only for a little while, then she happily watched from the side lines.

Busy busy busy

We are not typically busy people, but apparently we've been pretty busy for about a month cause that's how long it's been since I've updated.

It's been a fun busy. Here's a little catching up.

About a month ago we traveled to Iowa for a cousin's wedding. We decided to make a weekend get away out of it and stayed in a hotel and did some vacationy type things.

Hotels=swimming for the kids, so swim we did.

Kole had lots of fun on his first big swim.

Xander's all about the jumping, over and over. I had to force him to move out further so he would stop coming down mere inches from the edge.

I like Sophia's face in this one.

cute cute

The next day were were trying to find something touristy to do and the lady working the breakfast stuff in the hotel told me about Incredible Pizza Co. She described it as an upscale Chucky Cheese, which wasn't really a seller for me, but the kids thought it sounded like loads of fun. It did end up being really fun. They got to do bumper cars and go karts and lots of games. Plus Pizza, that's always good.

the "too short" kids watching go karts from the side lines.

Isabella won the go kart race!

they scored millions of tickets and each got to buy a trinket

Lots and lots of fun!
