Because I know you're dying to know, here's an update on all things growing here on Hopper Farm.
The chickens are getting big and kinda cute.

I'll have to try to get a better picture of this, but these are Asain Green beans and they are super long, like 10-12 inches. They have a really good flavor too, next year I'll plant many more of these.

regular green beans using our fence to climb up.

This baby watermelon is one of the cutest things I've ever seen, seriously, adorable.

A little bigger one.

baby pumpkin.

lots and lot of cucumbers, which have magically (ha) turned into lots of pickles. 3 gallons, lots of quarts and pints, I don't know, I lost count.

Tomatoes are so close, one is was getting orangish yesterday...

we have just a few stalks of corn, but they are coming along.

TONS of yellow squash. I told the girls just to assume from now on that everything has yellow squash in it.

Nikolas does a great job chillin in his playpen while we work in the garden. This time he just fell asleep and had a little nap outside.

Faron planted a ton of Potatoes, unfortunately it was in some really bad soil, so when he harvested them they were really small. We are still enjoying eating them but he thought it was a lot of work for some of them to be marble size, cute though.

The girls and I planted a sunflower forest and have been watching them get taller and taller, this week on finally bloomed. They are so huge and cool.
