Easter

Here come the Easter pictures!

For some reason I just couldn't get into the whole egg dying scene this year, so we markered some eggs. It was pretty fun really, and instead of the coloring taking 2 seconds, it actually lasted a good long time and everybody enjoyed it.

A little marker on the face...

Easter morning, as with most Sunday mornings, was a rush of activity, but we did manage to get all of us to church on time, and looking cute to boot. Getting a picture of all the cousins proves to be a tough assignment, and as I looked around and suddenly was the only adult to be found, this is the best I could do. However, I do believe this is the first year that no one is crying, so that's really saying something.

And then it was time for the egg hunt, much to Isaiah and Miah's joy, they'd been asking for it since the day before. We were very glad that it was not thunder storming as the weather had predicted, an egg hunt outside is much more fun.

Sophia says, "Can someone get me another basket?"

I found a frog in the hole while I was hiding the eggs :)

We practice communal candy gathering around here. So once the hunt was over all the eggs got cracked into one basket and everybody shared the candy.

Well, most of the eggs anyway.

Kaleb knew we were all together, so we must be celebrating something, so he kept telling everyone happy birthday.

Hair

This post is all about the hair! When we see Auntie Angie, we put her to work. When she was here a couple weeks ago we kept her busy, and look at the lovely results.

Isabella and Sophia have long discussed cutting their hair to donate to locks of love, and the time finally came that they were ready to do it.

Isabella's Birthday Party

After we had a super fun morning riding horses, and a birthday girl lunch at Red Robin, it was time for the party!

Isabella's party this year was a Playdoh party! We made tons of playdoh and tons of kids created! The girls made lots of playdoh barbie clothes. There was also lots of playdoh cooking going on. See Phia's pan of veggies?

When Isabella helped make that green playdoh the night before she said it would be perfect for a mermaid tail, so she had to make one.

Grandma and Grandpa, Grammy and Pop, Auntie Angie and Uncle Gabe and Auntie Anna and Uncle Nathan all pitched in to buy Isabella horse riding lesson for her birthday. She had to put together this puzzle to read what her gift was.

Pinata time! Isabella made her own Pinata this year. She paper mache-ed it and then painted it. It's a can of play-doh!
