Coffee for adoption

 Hey guys, so yep, we're adopting again, that's all I got in the way of a big announcement for ya :) We're in the waiting phase so, while we're waiting we're going to be doing all we can to tighten the old belt and gather the funds.  Yep, agency fees, legal fees, all the fees.  So, anywhoo, I'll be stocking up my etsy store soon ( https://www.etsy.com/shop/Verahopper ) and we are going to do a couple of fundraisers.  Now yes, I hate doing fundraisers, so believe me, I won't do any more than I think are worth while, and offer cool stuff.

Nikolas and Sophia had a great birthday Costume party this weekend. Isabella organized everyone into Alice in Wonderland costumes, Alice, the queen of Hearts, The mad hatter, and a mad hatter girl, the white rabbit and Dina (with flair) yet somehow I only got pictures of a few of them. We may have to have a dress up photo shoot day to remedy that. Lots of fun and now Sophia is 9 and Kole will be 4 shortly.

the last couple of years Sophia has had fun decorating her own birthday cake, so here's this year's creation

Kole changed what kind of cake he wanted every time I asked so finally I told him to just leave it to me and he'd like it, and he did :)  I just heard that these knights got named Alexander the Great and his brother Nikolas the Great.

Co-op Fall Festival

Yesterday we had our Fall Festival at Co-op.  The kids were very excited to have something to wear their costumes to!  It was very fun, after classes we met in the gym and there were game booths, a costume parade and lots of candy, what more could they ask for.

Ari and Xander had a wedding today.  The whole thing was so cute I just had to share all the pictures.  It was all very impromptu.  I was not even actually invited, but once I saw Xander in his suit I had to grab the camera and go out there.

Isabella and Sophia both officiated the ceremony.  They sang "Amazing Grace" to begin with.

outside fun

This blog has certainly gotten away from me, but I'll just jump in here with an update :)

We've been outside lots these days.  Xander was out with Papa the other day and he made himself a bow.  He found all the supplies and put it together himself, just brought the finished product to Faron.  He's been an "arrow" shooting machine ever since.  

After Xander's great fun with his bow and arrow, of course all the kids wanted them, so Faron spent some time making bow after bow.

Even down to Kole.  They've all spent much time shooting and have gotten pretty good.  

Dalia didn't get a bow, so she had to make due with this stick she found.
