Christmas time has come and gone, we're back to the daily grind. Here are some of the highlights of our Christmas season.
Miss Christmas here :)

The one time it snowed for more than 3 minutes. The kids were so excited they ran outside to play and the girls took a book of Christmas songs so they could carol. It only snowed for an hour or so and there was no accumulation, but I gotta say, it did a lot to brighten our Christmas spirit.

The kids had been working on a play to perform on Christmas Eve at Uncle Gabe's house. They had posters, snacks planned and they all knew their parts. As it typically goes with holidays, we got sick and ended up not being able to travel for the festivities in Iowa, so they performed for an audience of 3 at home.

Christmas eve present of pj's

The big girls and the little girls both had their rooms redecorated for their "big" Christmas present. So after many of the other presents were open we took a break and headed up for the unveiling.
The big girls room is done up in shades of pink and black. lots of fluff, silkyness and a few zebra stripes thrown in. Any time I could throw in the Eiffel tower too, that was a big hit.

The little girls room is just everything girly that could be chalked in there.

Her favorite present was this piano from Sophia.

about a week later we were finally ready for some travel, so we were able to go do our Christmas celebration with the Buckners. I had a few helpers making dinner the first night.

The boys room had the computer that many gathered round. And desks that the girls took over to draw on. Grammy got all the kids art supply cases, so there was much drawing happening.

There was even a drawing contest. Angie, Pop and I were designated the judges, so we ended up having to create a prize for each contestant, how could we possibly just pick a winner?!

Before leaving we celebrated Mia's 6th birthday and Ari's 5th birthday
