We had a super fun birthday party yesterday. Sophia turned 8 and Kole's getting ready to turn 3, so we had our annual costume party.

The girls colored rock stars to play "pin the rock star on the stage" the boys had swords, and therefore had no interest in coloring or game playing.

Sophia made and decorated her own cake this year. She made a rainbow cake, so when it was cut it was all different colors on the inside. Then she decorated it into a volcano. (like my cowgirl outfit? picked by Sophia, who insisted I dress up)

how unrewarding that no one has left a comment! I love the mustache and lips on stick goodie bag treats! I'm gonna have to do that someday. And I love "pin the rockstar on the stage" so inventive.
My heart just melts every time I see all your kiddies gamboling through life! What a bunch of sweeties. The party looks fabulous, and thank heaven for good weather and a big yard!
