Thanksgiving with the Buckners

The day after Thanksgiving we made the trek North for Thanksgiving with the Buckners.

As soon as we walked into the house the kids descended on the playroom and it was never the same again. However some treasures were found, including some costumes and some instruments, therefore, a concert.

It was cold, but we took the herd of kids out to run around for a little while.

The 3 boys spent most of their time together playing the wii

Uncle Gabe took us down to the music room and the kids had lots of fun down there.
Ari stayed down there for over an hour, she really liked it all. She spent most of her time in front of the mic.
Xander rocked the drums

This is what the room looks like without the flash, it is lit by christmas lights strung across the ceiling. Very mood lighting-ish.

Grammy made a guest appearance.

To finish up our visit Auntie Angie got roped into doing some hair. Ari's been wanting short hair for a while, however when we did it she was at the end of a long weekend of play and she just couldn't stay awake for it.

but with Grammy holding up her head Auntie Angie finished a super cute hair cut anyway :)

What a wonderful way to wind up Thanksgiving. You might have your own band there. Would you be booking in Omaha area? I love the hair cut scene with Grammy having to hold up the girls head.. hee hee

That was a cute post. looked like a lot of fun. That music room looks like a good influence. I'd like to hear what Ari is doing in the mic. Levi and Gracie both would love to be in on that jam time.
