Christmas Day

We spent Christmas Day in St. Joe this year, as we always do, but this year was quite different since Dad was in the hospital with some Pneumonia and other stuff. But, we did the best we could to be jolly none the less :)

Alexander and Nehemiah are defiantly the hugging cousins, I have so many pictures of them like this, and they did it several times throughout the day.

Grammy opening her box that I made for her, to hold our Christmas Verses. We read a Christmas scripture before every present that gets opened.

Opening
The boys got this cool rocking horse from Grammy and Pop, and Alexander sure thought it should be his!
Arianna playing with her baby doll. She got a baby doll from Grammy and Pop, but the other kids took off with it, so she got this substitute doll to play with!
Visiting Pop in the hospital before we headed home.

Isabella and Sophia missed their Christmas performance at Church the weekend before Christmas because we got snowed in in Maryville, Sophia was very disappointed so she performed for Grammy and Pop. Isabella was never quite sure she was going to participate in the first place, so she was not as disappointed and didn't perform with Sophia, Alexander jumped in though!

Yes, what a weird Christmas it was! But Vera did her best to make it happen anyway, and the pictures are nice to see. The little boys were a hoot this year. The Hugging Cousins also teamed up under the Christmas tree, before any adults noticed, for a good old fashioned random present rip-opening. Just the two of them silently, side by side, ripping gift wrap like pros! I have a feeling that next year I'm really going to go crazy with Christmas!

Looks like all had a wonderful crazy time. Grammy has to keep on her toes next year. I am already looking forward to next Christmas. Should be more fun.
