I didn't quite get a beginning picture, but here is one after the old vanity and mirror came out.
Removing the shower and tub, you can see the new floor here too.
Faron was soldering some pipes and the kids were quite enthralled.
New tub is in and getting the walls ready for tile. Faron had a little helper for a while. Most of the time the kids were gated away from the bathroom but every once in a while one snuck through. While I was taking this picture I asked Xander if he was helping Papa and he said, "I had Papa the nails. Papa hit him finger with the hammer and him say 'owwie owwie'".
New tub and floor, old toilet and sink are gone.
The new toilet sat in the living room until it could go to it's new home in the bathroom. One day Alexander decided to use this one instead of one that was actually hooked up. He thought it was a new convenience, hey, they put a toilet in the living room!

this picture cracks me up cause it looks like Faron finally was overcome with that bathroom project. Day 5 proved to be too much. Actually he is putting down tape and getting ready to seal it up.

Sally here, I think it's signed me in as Vera---Faron worked so many hours, it's shameful. I'll tell you this much, it looks great! He does good work! Often it was Xander and Ari in there with Faron. but Xander was interested enough to be granted longer time there. See those copper pipes that run to the shower head and faucet? He had to remake those with new pipe and all. Aint he somethin?
Faron is a miracle worker. He can do anything !! I want his autograph. He's more valuable than rubies! I also want him at my house next !!

Wow, it does look totally different. I love the sink/vanity.
How funny that Xander actually used the new toilet in the living room.
And, I was gonna believe that Faron was actually asleep on the bathroom floor. He does strange things from time to time.
Hey, maybe he should become a handy man, and see if he can get enough jobs to live?
WOW! What a cool project. It is great that you guys can do it yourself. Bathrooms are so expensive. I love the pic of Faraon lying on the floor. That cracked me up!
Good work my son. You always did enjoy working with your hands. Sure glad the potty is in the right room now.. Alexander will be in the right place now.
woah, that vanity is really nice. I'll have to find myself a handy man to marry. i can barely swing a hammer.
