Isabella and Sophia have been studying primary colors and the color wheel, so Wednesday was the day we put our money where our mouth was. We got out the paints and they made thier own color wheels. They love to paint, honestly, what kid wouldn't. It is the perfect oppertunity to make not only a lovely piece of art, but also a huge mess.

So they did both.














Isabella understands which color s are her primary colors and that mixing them makes the secondary colors, she doesn't always know which colors to mix to make what, but she understands that a little better after today.


Sophia knows that she is painting, and that it is a great deal of fun, why would you complicate such a fun process with trying to learn special names for colors!?
